Chevrolet is the MVP when it comes to competing in the realm of vehicle technology. From sales to technology, our cars have been winning accolades and challenging conventional thinking.
So it’s no surprise that for the month of August 2012, Chevrolet Cruze was the highest-selling compact car.
People are noticing that Cruze is a compact car that is anything but small. It goes to show that Cruze exemplifies dedication to quality, outshining the Honda Civic in gas engine highway fuel economy, total number of air bags and cargo space. It’s no wonder Cruze surpassed Honda Civic as the best-selling compact for the month of August as well.
Not only have Chevrolet cars been flying off of the lots this year (yay Cruze!), but our technology has also led to the most victories in IndyCar racing. Chevrolet Advanced Powertrain Technology swept both the Manufacturers' and Driver's Championships in the IZOD IndyCar Series. We are proud to have our name on and under their hoods.
For Chevy, technology is of the utmost importance. It keeps drivers up to date and in control while behind the wheel, which is why when IndyCar racers drive Chevy cars, they tend to win.
Chevy takes pride in these successes, but what’s most important is that Chevy drivers are getting what they want out of life.
